Happy New Year!


AAPG is pleased to sponsor a Career Panel on Thursday, January 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Aragon Library.  Everyone in the Aragon community is welcome to join.


Our esteem panelists will include David Lim, Council Member of City of San Mateo; Saili Gosula, President of Synergy Homecare in San Mateo; Mark Chao, MD of Stanford Medical Center; Andrea Herrera, Vice President of Marketing of Senturus, Inc.; and Alan Tang, DPT of AERO Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.


·David Lim: David has served as a Council Member for the City of San Mateo since 2009. He has also worked as a deputy district attorney for 14 years - 13 years with the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, and one year as a prosecutor with the Santa Clara County. David received his JD from UC Hastings College of Law, and Master of Education from UCLA.


·Saili Gosula: Saili is the owner of Synergy HomeCare of San Mateo, and a second-time parent at Aragon.  She worked in IT for 20 years, and was a successful director at a large corporation at her last corporate job. Saili received her BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Coe College, and MS in Computer of Science from the University of Iowa.


·Mark Chao, MD: Dr. Chao has served as an Internal Medicine resident engaging in internal medicine patient care for inpatient and outpatient settings at Stanford Hospital and affiliated clinics since 2011. He is interested in the characterization and therapeutic targeting of cancer stem cells in human malignancies. Dr. Chao received both his MD and PhD from Stanford University.


·Andrea Herrera: Andrea is currently Vice-President of Marketing at Senturus Inc. Before that she spent nearly 20 years in marketing at large packaged goods companies including Clorox. Andrea received her BS from UCLA in Math-Systems Science, and MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. 


·Alan Tang, DPT: Alan started out as a traveling Physical Therapist, working at different hospitals and clinics throughout the country. He joined AERO Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2011 working in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehab. Alan received his BA in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the joint graduate program at UC San Francisco and San Francisco State.  


AAPG also wants to thank those who have already become our members during the Fall Semester. For those who have not yet joined us, or are still considering being a member, please click on this link, complete the file Membership Form 2014-2015, make the check payable to Aragon High School PTSO – AAPG, and drop it off or mail it to the school office at 900 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo CA 94402. With your participation and annual donation, you will be part of a community that will help decide scholarship awards for Asian students and Asian language students at Aragon; communicate with student groups, and assist with student activities.
